Is automated driving safe? Or should we ask a different question: how do we ensure the safety of automated driving vehicles? The large attendance to this workshop shows that Korea is very serious on the topic of safety assessment. It was great to share a scenario-based safety assessment approach and discuss the research that is done, also in Europe with projects such as CCAM SUNRISE project and V4SAFETY project, to come to harmonized approaches.
