Sounds like abrams is a hoax. Close the designing, scrap the rest of these rust buckets. It appeared to be worse than even T-72s and T-64s with a bbq case on their top. It was supposed to shoot a lot of ammo and hit a lot of targets at the front... Before it dies... But it doesn't work. It just dies. It doesn't need many hits. It burns like a christmas tree. For long they were supposed to defeat donkey riding middle eastern cavalry with slings and sticks. And they barely succeeded there. Today they cost a fortune. They get an automatic transmission, climax control. But require pink pony rainbow fuel, air support, intelligence support, many maintenance, electronic wonders, political support from the very top. What they have got today? No quality fuel, no air, no intelligence, no maintenance, electronics stolen and sold, and the political rooftop is kinda leaking (when not talking to invisible friends or touching children). And no dollars stuffed pinata. And the russian army is a little bit different, not a cavalry. And the armor... Tons of armor is not required any more. The modern ammo pierce 7 feet of armor like butter. The engine sux, the suspension sux, the caterpillars not replaceable in the field, the drivers drunk, the fuel stolen. Abrams is a liquid qrap bucket not suitable for any war including the contemporary war of drones. Let's wait for F-16. But you can bring F-35s already.

For almost a century, armor was designed as a shield against penetrators that were going to hit it on the frontal quarter from little or no elevation. Certain scenarios or effectors negate this premise, especially close quarter battle but also terrain that can offer masking capabilities and thus let the attacker fire from the sides or behind. Then first top-attack munitions and now cheap drones negate this disposition. Instead of hitting in the most convenient place for the defender, the weakest points and angles are sought for and leveraged. The very armor formula for every conceived armored vehicle is becoming less and less valid. And the problem compounds because during the last 25 years, vehicles have become bigger and taller as they were more and more protected against IEDs. This is not necessarily the end of armor as we knew it. It is going to evolve dramatically, using more active elements in layers and renouncing part of the static and passive ones. But the vehicles conceived in the past, even more so the recent ones, are in big trouble.

In my dissertation project 'Elemental Awakening,' My aim is to engage players in strategic decision-making regarding the selection of totems and elementals for specific in-game scenarios. The video below introduces a new enemy type known as the Clawdrone. Defeating Clawdrones can be difficult using spell casting alone due to their resilient shields.
