“Have you had a mammogram yet?” That simple question, asked at the right time, is critical to early detection and prevention of breast cancer for many women. With the recent release of updated #mammogram guidelines by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, lowering the age for screenings to 40, it is more urgent than ever to ensure people get the message. I wrote an op-ed in STAT about how we can use simple messaging to communicate these guidelines to patients and make sure they know what preventive screenings they need. I am so proud of the work we are doing at Phreesia to prevent cancer by getting the message out to patients when they are thinking about their health and can take action. This is our #cancermoonshot. #cancerprevention https://lnkd.in/eeCtYzkW

In politics, we know most people don't think about election choices until they are about to make a decision. This commonsense, as you argue, should extend to health care too!

Very interesting, we’ve been working on this for cervical cancer screening and non-English populations.
