13th June was Global Fatty Liver Day. In Eisai, we are creating awareness throughout the month. The increase in NAFLD prevalence has already affected the prevalence of cirrhosis and its complications, and roughly twice as many persons are estimated to suffer from NAFLD-related cirrhosis in 2030 compared to 2016.
