When you begin your sales career in New Homes or International Property Sales, there are so many different companies and roles to consider. This Client Relations role is a Sales role, but it's more than that. It's about building long-term relationships and trust with people who might be buying for the first, second, or third time, possibly the fourth or fifth time with one company. If you had set an earnings limit based on the general market, that's okay, but this is no ordinary New Home Sales opportunity. You need to be extraordinarily good with people, customer follow-ups, and the ability to impart crucial data to buyers who might not see the end product for a year or more. This is why this role is vital to the success of the business model and you will be a key player in making good things happen. Professional, articulate, knowledgeable and dedicated to achieving realistic goals - that's who I'm looking for. By doing a great job, you'll earn eye-watering sums of money. The expectations are high but so are the rewards. Selling to a warm customer base, should be a doddle, but of course it won't be a doddle, but it will be very rewarding. It's not a short term fix. You have buy into this for the long term. NO WEEKENDS as a general rule. Big Earnings - Seriously - approaching 6 figures, starting with a Basic Salary of £30k. Q: If I was a sales rep working for a title agency (or settlement services), what would I do TODAY to get a new customer? (Forward this to your sales reps!) A: I would meet with the nearest available real estate agent(s) and show them how to increase their connections to 1,000 people on LinkedIn targeting high net worth business operators, and up and coming young executives. I would especially target those who have been promoted recently. In other words, I would exclusively target people who buy and sell houses!! (Oh, and the best part is it can be done in less than 15-minutes a day.) Help a real estate agent grow their connections by 1,000 "high-value targets" and you'll have a customer for life. Do you object to the naming convention Sales Rep for a B2B salesperson? A question for buyers and sellers and I’m talking Business to Business here. I think it’s quite descriptive but I’ve also been told it’s a bit derogatory. It’s a minefield of job titles for the role of salespeople. Some are very clear - Regional Sales Manager Some are very ambiguous - Relationship Manager. I’ve heard Technical Sales Manager, Territory Manager, Account Manager urghh Help me out…what do you prefer and why?
