🎉 Exciting News! 🏡✨ We had an incredible and successful community garage event in Sherman Oaks that brought together neighbors, friends, and families for a day of fun, connection, and giving back! 🌟🤝 From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and a sense of togetherness. Our community members came out in full force, bringing their treasures to sell, shop, and support local causes. 🛍️💚 But it was more than just a garage sale. It was an opportunity for us to connect on a deeper level, to share stories, and to strengthen the bonds that make our community special. The event was filled with laughter, warm conversations, and the joy of discovering hidden treasures. 🗝️✨ I am humbled and grateful to have the opportunity as a real estate agent to not only help people find their dream homes but also to actively contribute to the well-being and growth of our community. This event showcased the power of collaboration and the incredible impact we can make when we work together towards a common goal. 🌟🤝 To everyone on my team, and everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this event, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your presence and enthusiasm elevated the respect for our profession and reinforced the importance of community engagement. Together, we are making a difference, one event at a time. 🌈💪 Together, we can create an even brighter future for all. 🌟✨ #RealEstateWithPurpose #LocalSupport #NeighborsUnite #BuildingConnections #CaringAgent #MakingADifference #GivingBackToTheCommunity #TogetherWeCan #EmpoweredCommunities #StrongerTogether #CommunityUnity #CreatingChange #CommunityInvolvement #CommunityDriven #CommunityStrong #CommunityMattersMost #CommunityFirst #RealEstateForGood

Experienced Director | External Relations | Strategic Planning | Partnerships | Membership | Fundraising | Marketing | Events
I strategize...think deeply...pause to appreciate life when I skate. Today I'm thinking about creating more channels for my creativity as the landscape has shifted so much since I last produced my own events. (I utilized event production as my main channel) Building new channels for your creativity requires a combination of strategic planning and action. So how to build a channel?... Define goals: Clearly identify what you want to achieve with your new channels. Are you looking to reach a wider audience, showcase your work, or generate income? Having a clear vision will guide your decision-making process. Research your target market/audience: Understand who your audience is and what they are interested in. This will help you tailor your offerings. Choose the right platforms: Evaluate different platforms and channels that align with your goals and target audience. Consider factors such as user demographics, engagement levels, and the type of content that performs well on each platform. It's important to focus on platforms where your target audience is active. Develop a creation strategy: Create a plan for the type of outcome you want to produce and how frequently you will release it. Make sure what you create is aligned with your goals and resonates with your audience. Brainstorm ideas, experiment with different formats, and strive to provide value to your audience. Consistency is key: Regularly update your channels with fresh creations to keep your audience engaged. Establish a consistent schedule for sharing your work and stick to it. This will help you build a loyal following and maintain momentum. Promote your channels: Utilize your existing network and social media platforms to promote your new channels. Encourage friends, family, and followers to check out your work and share it with others. Collaborate and network: Seek opportunities to collaborate with other creatives or professionals in your field. This can help you expand your reach and tap into new audiences. Attend industry events, join online communities, and participate in relevant conversations to build connections and learn from others. Evaluate and adapt: Regularly assess the performance of your channels and adjust your strategy accordingly. This will take time, yet will give a framework to just get started. You'll come to know through discovery where your offerings best fit. How do you come up with your best ideas? (Saw a bald eagle, hot air balloons, snake, rabbits and butterflies on my trail...I pause to appreciate these too) 💙 Colorado

Our upcoming Grand Reopening celebration event presented the team with a bit of a challenge - how do we make it possible for as many people to ride with us on the day when our normal services are sold out four-six weeks in advance? These services also take 1.5hr each and we can only run three a day while keeping our crews within their fatigue management hours - so extra services wasn’t the answer. Our senior operational volunteers put their heads together, and with the help of some old school train graphs and a passion for the railway they came up with a plan. This is how our “taster” rides were born - six, shorter, 45 min trips to Top Points and back that give our customers a taste of the real thing. Using two locomotives – our familiar green steam engine on one end and a beautifully restored diesel engine on the other - we can make it easy for the crews to run the services on time. Plus what a spectacular site for our celebration day! Tickets for the trips are at a discounted rate and will come with a bonus 10% discount for a full ride on the train within 12 months of the event - because we’re sure once everyone has a taste they will want to come back for the whole trip. See volunteering for us isn’t just for those keen to drive a train, direct traffic as a guard or be the friendly face in our stations (although we welcome anyone keen to do those jobs too!). If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be behind the scenes - why not come volunteer with us? We provide all the training needed for operational roles plus there’s lots of opportunities for roles that don’t need any training or where you can put your professional skills to good use. We have volunteers who live across NSW (and even some interstate) so don’t let distance be a barrier! www.zigzagrailway.au 📸 Jess Day #volunteer #volunteering #HeritageRail #tourism #ZigZagRailway #NotForProfit #ProblemSolving #GrandReopening

My parkrun journey started in 2018, when I realised you didn’t actually have to run and didn’t need to be fast! I was under the hour that first one. For NHS 70 that June I managed a PB which I shaved off 63 seconds 15 months later. 52.02 remains my home parkrun PB. And will be my next milestone alongside aiming to complete 50 parkrun. My official PB is 49.34 achieved on New Years Day 2022 on a pretty much flat and not muddy course! Today I did no 32. In 01.01.44 and was 192 out of 192. The reason? I was the tailwalker. This #volunteer role means no one is ever last at parkrun. The tail doesn’t finish until the last parkrunner crosses finish funnel. Why was I tailwalking? Because today marked my 250 volunteering day for parkrun. This is a huge milestone. And made possible by sometimes doing a double bubble weekend at a 5k and 2k junior event. Like many people I probably would have achieved this a good year ago if not more but we lost around 16/17 months to Covid. But I made it! What’s next? Well 500 is next for volunteering and I have cunning plan to attempt to achieve this by the time I’m 55. Which gives me a few years :-). For actual parkruns next is 50, so can I manage 18 this year? Not inpossible! So who knows. I’ll aim for 40 first :-) #loveparkrun #milestones #volunteering #goals #walk1000miles #redjanuary

🙏❤️🌈 A Heartfelt Request from Soulhaven Foundation 🌈❤️🙏 Amazing Community & Supporters, In our continuous journey to spread holistic well-being and sustainable living, we’ve encountered a unique challenge that brings us to seek your collective wisdom and networks. As many of you know, Soulhaven Foundation is the beacon of our mission to nurture holistic lifestyles for the betterment of our community and the planet. Our dream is to extend our reach and impact through a digital sanctuary that reflects our mission and values. This is where we would like your help. We wish to secure the domain Soulhaven.org to establish a dedicated online home for our non-profit endeavors. Unfortunately, our attempts to acquire this domain through conventional means have not been successful. Despite our best efforts through GoDaddy’s brokering service, we’ve been unable to establish contact with the current holder, who is associated with Sonic ISP from an earlier period of domain hosting. This domain holds immense potential for union with our existing site, Soulhaven.com. It represents a significant step forward in uniting our holistic lifestyles business with our non-profit mission under the Soulhaven banner. We believe in the power of community and the incredible network of professionals on LinkedIn. If anyone has insights, connections, or advice on how we might reach out to the owner of Soulhaven.org or if there are alternative strategies we should consider, your guidance would be invaluable. Moreover, should the current holder see this message, we are open to discussing options that could benefit both parties, including a tax-deductible donation of the domain to Soulhaven Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Together, we can make Soulhaven.org a reality, creating a space that fosters healing, growth, and holistic living for all. Thank you for any help, advice, or share you can offer to help us in this mission. Our hearts and hopes are aligned toward making a positive change, and with your help, we can make a significant stride toward that dream. May our journeys be blessed with peace, love, and rainbow light! 🙏❤️🌈🙌 Ms. Elizabeth Munoz Founder, Soulhaven Foundation 🌈 Join us in creating a haven for souls to flourish. 🌈 #SoulhavenFoundation #Healing #Unity #DomainJourney #Support #Nonprofit Sonic

Do you Parkrun? Recently, I had the joy of running a Parkrun with my boys, and it's something I plan to do more often. 🌟 Parkrun is a fantastic event that brings together families, people of all ages, and all abilities. I used to regularly do my local Parkrun, but ive been getting on longer runs recently so have missed my Parkrun. It’s incredible to see such a diverse group coming together to enjoy a healthy start to the weekend. Here are some reasons why Parkrun is a great addition to your life: Community Spirit: It's heartwarming to see everyone, from seasoned runners to beginners, supporting each other. Inclusive for All: Whether you run, walk, or volunteer, there’s a place for everyone. Even if you're injured, you can still be a part of the event by volunteering. Free and Accessible: Parkrun is free, making it accessible to everyone. Its every Saturday usually at 9am. No barriers, just pure enjoyment. Health Benefits: You’ll see gains quickly, from improved fitness to better mental well-being. Family Fun: It's a wonderful way to spend quality time with your family, creating memories and fostering healthy habits together. A big shout out to all the Parkrunners out there! What's the best thing you enjoy most about Parkruns? PS: Are you in the sub 20 club? A club I'm hoping to rejoin this calendar year! 😀👌🙌🤞 #Parkrun #Community #HealthyLiving #FamilyTime #InclusiveFitness #WeekendWellness #RunTogether #Volunteer
