With Red Flag Warning 🚩 conditions in San Mateo County as well as record high temperatures ☀️ throughout the Bay Area this July 4 holiday week, residents are reminded: 🔥 fireworks are illegal in unincorporated San Mateo County, including all County parks. Don't risk a $1,000 fine and hurting yourself or others and starting a fire. 🔥 take preventative safety steps such as staying hydrated and remaining out of the sun to prevent heat exhaustion and stroke Police, fire and dispatch are on duty. Call 9-1-1 for emergencies.
