Latin School of Chicago hosted a Diversity Job Fair in their building and invited 20 NAIS independent schools to recruit prospective employees. Buckets Over Bullying thinks it’s imperative to remind prospective NAIS employees that if they are choosing a career in the private school industry it is critical to be a person of the highest moral standards, integrity and have the genuine intent to protect all students. If student safety and well being is not your number one priority, then you should not be looking for a job in the NAIS private school industry. Sadly, the @naisnetwork does not tout integrity, honesty and a moral compass. Why? Because they definitely do not uphold these characteristics. In my opinion , the NAIS has a very deliberate and devious agenda that causes harm to many students and families and the @naisnetwork does not care. And, let me be clear, The Latin School of Chicago does not care about student safety. They don’t follow their own school policies. Their handbook claims it has “a zero tolerance policy for all forms of bullying” if that is the case, then why is my son Nate Bronstein dead? It is all about their image, and the money. I've been getting a lot of questions about the event we're putting on, so I wanted to answer some of the most common ones: ✨ Is this a job fair? Technically, no. This event is a conversational roundtable featuring young people and professionals alongside employers and leaders. It's a chance to share perspectives about each other and discuss how we can overcome generational obstacles as a community. ✨ This event is FREE! Originally, we considered a fee to cover costs, but I wanted to be fair and absorb the cost as an investment. ✨ This is NOT confrontational. This isn't about hearsay. We'll be using statistics and key indicators observed within our community to facilitate discussion. ✨ Who's participating? We'll have students from high schools and colleges across the Springfield-Branson metro area. This includes international students, Springfield-Branson natives, and those planning to leave or enter the workforce. ✨ The goal? To share perspectives and find common ground.

The #jobless rate in the CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion area was 4.1% in August, an uptick of 0.1 percentage point over the month [...]. Dale French, CareerSource CLM’s executive vice president, said that while there was a small jump in jobless numbers, there were much larger increases in the #laborforce and labor force participation. “What we are seeing is a large increase in workers moving to the area and reengagement of workers that may have been on the sidelines looking for better opportunities,” French said. “This is great news for local businesses that are in need of talent. Now is definitely a great time for anyone looking at re-entering the workforce or simply seeking a better opportunity.” French added that one such opportunity is the regional fall job fair that takes place Sept. 27 from 3-5 p.m. at the College of Central’s Florida’s Klein Conference Center in Ocala.
