COUNTRY Financial Representative Brent Seggebruch - Country Financial Representative in Amboy, IL, just returned home from Paris, where he was supporting his son Spencer Seggebruch at the 2024 Paralympics.  Spencer Seggebruch, a USA Cycling national team member based out of St. Louis, is a pilot for visually impaired cyclist, Brendan Walton. On August 29, Seggebruch and Walton placed sixth in the Men’s B 4000m Pursuit, setting a new U.S. record time at the Paris Paralympics. Just two days later, they placed eighth in the Men’s B 1000m time trial, missing the medal round by just two seconds. “It was an incredible experience,” said Brent. “It took me until the opening ceremony to really understand the enormity of where we were. Spencer and Brendan gave it their all. They both had to be helped off the track after that first race. Today as we reflect on the sacrifices so many made on September 11, 2001, we can commemorate this important day in our history by serving the community.
