What if you could know the characteristics of a clot before thrombectomy, from standard stroke CT imaging? How would that impact your interventional procedure? Comment below 👇🏼
✨ We are excited to share the successful collaboration between our team and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in assessing clot characteristics in acute ischemic stroke patients. By integrating CT-source data with advanced histological analysis, we classified clots and explored their characteristics and impact on patient outcomes. This innovative partnership highlights the potential of combining machine learning and medical expertise to advance stroke treatment and improve outcomes. Special thanks to Dr. Juyu Chueh, Dr. Emanuele Orru' , Dr. Patel and all involved for their dedication and hard work in achieving these promising first results! #StrokeResearch #HealthcareInnovation #Teamwork #LHMC #BILH #JuyuChueh #EmanueleOrru #NeilPatel

FLUIDDA is very excited to announce an important collaboration with the THREE LAKES FOUNDATION to investigate early predictors of progression of interstitial lung abnormalities (#ILA) using quantitative CT imaging. ILA, which may be an early sign of pulmonary fibrosis (#PF), is a common incidental finding on chest CT scans, but researchers have yet to determine why some patients progress while others remain stable. This cooperative endeavor, sponsored by the THREE LAKES FOUNDATION, will be undertaken in collaboration with investigators at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medicine. We share Three Lakes Foundation’s commitment to improving time-to-diagnosis, quality of life, and outcomes for patients living with PF. #fibrosis #lunghealth #IPF

📝We are proud to share that our latest research paper, "Computer-aided Diagnosis System for Lung Fibrosis: from the Effect of Radiomic Features and Multi-layer-perceptron Mixers to Pre-clinical Evaluation" has been accepted in IEEE Access. Our research 💡 dives deep into the integration of advanced methods like multi-layer perceptron mixers along with radiomic features 🖥 explores the effectiveness of 2D and 3D data in segmentation, and 📈 analyses how feature selection methods influence the overall diagnostic performance of computer-aided diagnosis systems for lung fibrosis Finally, the comparison between the AI-driven method and four chest radiology specialists showed that the newly implemented approach performed almost as well as the professionals! This work was only possible with the team effort of AI engineers and medical experts. 💪 We would like to thank everyone for the excellent results: Matthias Fontanellaz Ethan Dack Andreas Christe Lukas Ebner Stergios C.
