Paris and Paradoxes! We from FFRC and Aalto University will be conducting a methodologically experimental workshop at World Futures Studies Federation Conference on 27th Oct for the projects RESCUE and T-Winning Spaces. Paradoxes as seemingly contradictory statements carry a lot of meanings that can be interpreted in many ways. We will invite participants to identify current pressing paradoxes for two complex issues - peace and work. Then we'll even attempt combining them and deconstructing underlying structures, belief systems etc. What paradoxes for peace or for work come to your mind? One is compelling: most people want peace - why do we still have wars?

Exciting times ahead next week at #WFSF World Conference 2023 when we present our research on #builtenvironment #resilience and give a helping hand with an intriguingly titled workshop "Transformative Futures of Peace and Work – Paradoxes and Polycomplexities"
