Nope…Three groups of people playing pickleball, with one group having erected their own pickleball-specific net since City of Toronto workers hadn’t yet erected the tennis net on the tennis-pickleball court. Did you know that Men’s Tennis at the collegiate level has 255 teams at the D1 level, 163 at D2, 329 D3, 107 NAIA, and 82 NJCAA teams? The maximum scholarships allowed per team are as follows: *D1- 4.5 *D2-4.5 *D3- N/A *NAIA-5 *NJCAA-9 Coaches can split these up amongst their roster. Are you putting your athletes in a position to be seen?

In a previous video, I dive into why laps are not the most relatable or beneficial warm-up. Instead, I highlight alternatives that not only get players ready to train but also keep their minds engaged. Arrival Matches – Start the session with a match which allows for an opportunity of guided discovery. Kick Ups – Players work on ball control whilst stretching. Football Tennis – a competitive challange that also works in ball control and agility which gives us a chance to learn the rules of tennis. Rondo – Foster quick decision-making and passing accuracy in a sharp game of keep ball. These warm-ups are not only more effective but also bring a sense of enjoyment and relevance to the training sessions.
