In light of Mental Health Awareness Month, it is important to acknowledge that food insecurity and mental health challenges are often intertwined. Nourishing Hope has been at the forefront of providing mental health counseling and social services—in addition to free food—to help Chicagoans lead dignified lives. Earlier this month, Nourishing Hope’s Young Leaders Board hosted their annual End Hunger Social. CoreGiving was honored to sponsor the event and engage young leaders from LivCor, a Blackstone Portfolio Company, and Revantage, A Blackstone Portfolio Company, in Nourishing Hope’s important mission. Thank you, Dominic R., Sue Lee, Meghan Walsh, Amanda Meyer, Neil Novosel, Marlyn Taylor, Jack Rosenthal, and Alicia Meyers (not pictured) for supporting CoreGiving and valued partners like Nourishing Hope.
