AV1 can certainly be used for low delay and RTC if all the new coding tools are disabled, making it sufficiently lightweight. However, this approach diminishes AV1's superior coding efficiency. There is a way to significantly accelerate AV1 encoding to meet low delay and RTC requirements while maintaining its superior coding efficiency without increasing compute costs. Here, we show how.

The effects of reflections on measurements often make decision-making difficult during the process of optimizing a system in the field. To help understand and compensate for this phenomenon, CrossLite has two proprietary types of comb filters, direct and reflect, with gain, frequency and bandwidth adjustment, allowing the user to create or remove the comb filter effect from your projects, with extreme precision and without correlation with sample rate.
