🌟 Coming Home to Purpose: My EY Story 🌟 Sometimes, the most impactful journeys are those that bring us full circle. My story with EY began in 2020, a time when the world seemed to be searching for solid ground. At EY, I found a community committed not just to excellence, but to something greater: building a better working world. In the collaborative spirit of EY, I grew more than I could have imagined—professionally and personally. Thank you EY for creating the Breaking Down Barriers Program! Participating in EY's Breaking Down Barriers program has been a truly wondrous experience, enlightening me about the extreme importance of diversity and inclusivity. The talks and discussions in the program have been a source of immense inspiration, showcasing EY's genuine commitment to its employees and promoting a culture of inclusive leadership, where EY’s teams are constantly being enriched by a diverse range of experiences, backgrounds, and skills, as they are brought together by an array of wondrous talents. One aspect that particularly resonated with me was the career journeys of EY's female staff members, who all are great inspiration. The program shed light on the prevalence of imposter syndrome among the female population (especially women who work in a male dominated field) and emphasized the significance of projecting one's authentic self to colleagues, as to reduce the risk of burnout. Via the POWER framework, breaking down barriers in workplaces seems much more manageable and impactful, whereby a team environment progresses into a healthier and more inclusive workplace! I want to express my gratitude to EY for organizing this workshop and equipping me with such significant soft skills which I will carry with me during times of leadership. The experience has strengthened my resolve to promote diversity, inclusivity, and authentic leadership in my professional life. P.S. Aline's muffin was the best XD. Also, love the EY tote bags!

Today is my last day working at EY, a wonderful company of wonderful people. After 20 years of working as a Partner in consulting, I am moving on to corporate retirement. Throughout these years, I've worked with fantastic EY teams, creative leaders, and visionaries. I've worked with over a hundred clients who shared their problems and placed their trust in me and my teams. It's impossible to thank everyone, so I won't list individual names. Thank you all for these wonderful years. I probably won't be original in starting my 2/3 project. It's easy to guess what it is. The first and second periods of life are about learning, gaining experience, and building a business. Now, I'm moving to the third stage, when it's time for change and sharing with others all that I've learned and built. This is the stage where, as a mature and conscious manager, I can offer myself to all those in need of advisory at the board level, advice on personal development or business development - a Partner in transforming the current business or building new, innovative technological solutions. I intend to continue lecturing at universities and will write another book. We live in a very interesting moment of technological changes, so I used GenAI to prepare an image summarizing my past and vision for the future in one image. I think Dall-e did a good job (a picture is worth a thousand words). Escher's style fits this very well. Metamorphosis through the eyes of artificial intelligence (but why are there pigeons in the future?). I feel that it's going to be interesting, and I certainly won't be bored. #ey #lastday #thankyou #friends #future

I've officially been at DHG > FORVIS > Forvis Mazars for 3 years now! I am so thankful for this company and for my peers - the marketers, partners, and other professionals I get to work with every day. Last year on my work anniversary, I shared what I'd learned so far in my career. This year, I'll share 3 reasons I love our firm and my job! 1. Respect - my managers and peers respect me, my ideas, and my contributions. They hold space for me and listen to what I have to say. In a profession where we have many tenured individuals, it is so refreshing to be listened to and respected, even as I am newer in my career. 2. Trust - my colleagues have trust for me and I thoroughly trust them. I can trust that when I go to my leadership with an issue, they will help me work through it and help find the best solution. I can trust that our teammates have the best intentions, and I trust my leaders to a point I can be my true self with them. 3. Care - my teammates thoroughly care for me and I care for them! We are here to support each other in the hard times of life and celebrate in the good times. We laugh together, make jokes on calls, but can still get real and collaborate and be strategic together. Here's to more years to come with our top 10, global firm, and our #1 team!
