When Sean Callaghan interned for CooperSurgical in 2021, there was no doubt in his mind that he wanted to come back to the team after graduation. Nowadays, you can find Sean supporting our sales team as Business Intelligence Manager. #OneCooperIntern 1️⃣ What's one word you would use to describe the internship program? “On my first day, my mentor asked me what I wanted to learn and then responded by enrolling me in online certification courses, as well as making introductions to their colleagues who would help me throughout the program. So, if I had to choose one word, it would be ‘educational’.” 2️⃣ Why did you choose CooperSurgical after the program concluded? “After my internship, I knew that CooperSurgical was a place where I could grow professionally and personally. Throughout my time as an intern, I was always encouraged to give my input, and I felt as though what I had to say was always valued, regardless of if I was still learning. Since I began fulltime, I’ve continued to learn and grow constantly, for which I must thank my own team and mentors as well as my colleagues across the business.” 3️⃣ What advice would you give to the 2024 CooperSurgical Interns? “CooperSurgical is full of kind and smart people, all of whom want to support our interns and ensure that they have a great experience. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and to make introductions - it can lead to growth and opportunity.”
