PFAS is not an easy topic. Choosing the right approach must be in line with the latest scientific and legal developments. The wrong approach could cause damage to people, planet, reputations and budgets. Good news: You're not alone. In the face of growing regulations and complex analysis, we bring technical expertise and industry experience. Our smart testing plans ask the right questions. They assess risks specific to the supply chain and product type. They consider functionality and performance claims. Want to know more? This USGS paper from the journal Emerging Contaminants presents results from a study of PFAS in the Rio Grande, New Mexico using both grab and passive (POCIS) samplers for PFAS. The paper also discusses the utility of non-PFAS parameters for help in PFAS source identification and tracking. The paper is open access and worth the time to read, in my opinion. www.sciencedirect.com https://lnkd.in/gEDRPcVx

CEO & Founder of RegAsk - a global RegTech SaaS company | Artificial Intelligence | Regulatory | Entrepreneurship
The Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) recently filed a petition with the FDA requesting the revocation of the color additive regulation regarding the use of titanium dioxide in foods. The EDF claims that the color additives are posing a risk to children that include hyperactivity and possibly even cancer. Being able to share news like this with our clients is part of what makes my work at RegASK™ so impactful. Our technology allows our clients to constantly be in-the-know about all regulatory changes. I'm proud to be a support to help our clients understand the importance of both monitoring and predicting regulatory shifts!
