In just one year’s time, we had a complete staff turnover. 🤯 It was brutal. 🥵 I learned a lot in that time, and the main thing was this: never compromise your values. 💯 You can find many skilled individuals in the world but that doesn’t make them the right person for your organization. ❌ 📝📥📓Despite knowing the HR rules, employment and labor laws, and best practices for hiring and retention, we did not get our culture right until I got clear about my personal values: innovation, candor, growth, volunteerism, independence. 🚀🙏🏼🤨 From there, I was able to finally articulate how I show my values in my work, and thus, how they show up in our organization if I am leading from my authentic place: 1. We challenge the status quo. 2. We are lovingly candid. 3. We value intentional growth. 4. We give back. 5. We believe in freedom. Our next step is to refine these further as an aligned group who agrees with these basic tenets. We will start by considering the specific examples of how they show up in our day to day lives and specifically identifying the people within our community (team, clients, vendors, referral partners) who demonstrate each of them. Start small. Start with you. 🙋 What do you value? How does that show up in your work? Do you see similarities with the people closest to you in life? 🤔 Does your team share these tenets or are you constantly wondering where their motivation comes from and why they don’t enthusiastically show to win every day? 🙃

Yesterday marked my six-month anniversary since being promoted to Director of Business Development at Court Enforcement Services. Reflecting on my time in post so far fills me with immense pride and excitement for what lies ahead. In these past six months, our team has achieved remarkable feats together: - Enhanced Collaboration: We've implemented new ways of working collaboratively, which has benefitted both our team internally and our clients, who have recognised a more fluid service. - Empowering Team Members: It's been incredibly rewarding to witness team members not only stepping into their own and thriving in their roles, but absolutely flourishing. - Enhanced Service Levels: During this period, we've received some of the highest placement volumes of the year. However, alongside this we've also worked to reduce visit times and increase recovery rates. Notably, both monthly visit volumes and remittance values have increased for many clients, which shows the dedication of our Operations Team and their commitment to delivering industry-leading results. - Strengthened Client Relationships: Above all, we've deepened our relationships with both new and existing clients by demonstrating our unwavering commitment to being a professional, client focused and approachable High Court enforcement partner. I'm proud of what the first six months has brought, and with some really exciting projects already in the pipeline, I have no doubt that the remainder of this year will be filled with even more accomplishments, growth, and success..... watch this space 👀

14 is traditionally a significant milestone in a person's life, marking the transition from childhood to adolescence and associated with balance and harmony. In the Hindu epic Ramayana, the 14-year-old "Vanvaas" (life in a Jungle) refers to the period of exile in the forest that Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and brother Lakshmana underwent. This period was significant as it symbolized the challenges, tests, and trials and the strength and resilience required to overcome them. Today, on our 14th anniversary, we only see an incredible adventure fueled by passion and determination as we ponder the journey so far. Reflecting on our path, marked by a commitment to nurturing art forms, supporting not-for-profit causes, and positively impacting various aspects of life, is heartwarming. We have had our share of hardships and challenges to overcome that we embraced with unwavering dedication and perseverance in an industry accused of lacking professionalism and no formal education and training. Our belief in the power of quality and a client-first approach has been instrumental in our success. Our story goes beyond event management and includes nurturing, sustainability, promoting children's education, enhancing opportunities, and mentoring teenagers. Our work reflects our purpose.
