We're pleased to announce that Peter Powers, MBA, FACHE, will serve as Market President for CommonSpirit Health's Greater Colorado and Kansas Market, beginning July 22. Peter's role will focus on meeting the highest standards for patient safety and care, driving market growth, and providing strategic and operational leadership for nine hospitals – Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Penrose Hospital, St. Catherine Hospital – Dodge City, St. Catherine Hospital – Garden City, St. Francis Hospital, St. Francis Hospital – Interquest, St. Mary-Corwin Hospital and St. Thomas More Hospital. This is a homecoming for Peter, who previously served our CommonSpirit ministry for eight years, including as CEO of St. Anthony Hospital. Most recently, he served as CEO of Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida – one of the largest hospitals in the country. We are thrilled to welcome Peter back to CommonSpirit, where he'll elevate our commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients in our rural and metropolitan markets in Colorado and Kansas.
