Electric vehicle usage is not limited to private car owners. Upgrading to electric buses, taxis and corporate fleets is underway in many cities worldwide, paving the way to better air quality and less noise. Fleets no longer require petrol station facilities but do require depot charging stations or Park and Charge spaces with reliable connections to the power grid. Ideally, when charging stations are powered by renewable energy, e-mobility vehicles reduce local noise and air pollution and contribute to decarbonising the whole transport sector. Over the last two decades, Dornier has advised government agencies on fleet electrification and charging infrastructure implementation despite different e-mobility standards across countries and regions. 🌍💡🔌 Big news in green mobility! We are pleased to announce that Emobility Solutions is participating in the ambitious CROSS-E project, aimed at promoting zero-emission travel by establishing high-powered electric vehicle charging points along key European routes and ports. In this initiative, Emobility Solutions is joined by three other leading companies: Allego, Petrol Group, and GreenWay Infrastructure. Together, Emobility Solutions and its partners will install a total of 911 high-powered charging points at 239 locations, catering to the needs of both light and heavy-duty vehicles (LDV & HDV). This project marks a significant step towards sustainable transportation and demonstrates the commitment of European companies to harnessing the opportunities presented by e-mobility. The project means 130 million euros investments in high power charging infrastructure with a total grant of 34.45 million euros from the European Union and is scheduled to be finalized by October 2026. As one of the key participants in the project, Emobility Solutions is proud to play a role in advancing the green transition and promoting sustainable mobility. This project not only contributes to the proliferation of electric vehicles but also brings us closer to a cleaner and more sustainable future. These partnerships mark a significant step in our mission to support the transition from internal combustion engines (ICE) to electric vehicles (EVs). Our collaboration with Contigo Mobility aims to enhance the EV infrastructure, facilitating the adoption of EV motorcycles. By combining our expertise, we will expand the reach and accessibility of EV technology, ensuring a smoother transition from ICE to EVs. Additionally, we will work on media campaigns to raise awareness about the benefits of EV technology and explore capital venture opportunities. We also witnessed the MoU between Contigo Mobility and Emirates Transport, focusing on integrating EV motorcycles into ET’s fleet. This initiative will promote greener and more efficient transport solutions, contributing to a sustainable future. Through Contigo Mobility’s partnership with Chulia Middle East, CME will introduce new green technologies and highlight the benefits of EV technology. This collaboration supports the UAE’s carbon emission reduction goals and explores capital venture opportunities.
