Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s Post

Habitat for Humanity’s Hope Springs development project in Greeley is addressing the area’s housing shortage by creating a community that contains 174 homes and 320 mixed-rate apartments. 🏠 Alquist 3D is supporting this project by building homes using their 3D concrete printing (3DCP) technology — a robotic arm that distributes thin layers of concrete. The manufacturer recently moved their headquarters to Greeley, thanks in part to the Colorado Economic Development Commission’s Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit program. Their efforts to create lower-cost housing and infrastructure serve as a great example of the amazing ways modular housing can help address our state’s housing shortage.
