SiNAPTIC Technologies from Lafayette, CO is one of the amazing Colorado companies awarded an Early-Stage Capital and Retention grant through OEDIT’s Advanced Industries Accelerator Program. The company developed a printable silicon nitride slurry for on-demand 3D printed technical ceramics for medical and industrial products. This funding will help further the development of SiNAPTIC's printable silicon nitride slurry through testing toward the submission of an FDA Master File. Our Global Business Development Division announced the first grant recipients of the Colorado CHIPS Community Support Program. Designed to foster the expansion of Colorado’s existing semiconductor and advanced industries,the Colorado CHIPS Community Support Program supports industry growth in new and emerging markets, including rural development. These grants will support Colorado communities interested in starting or growing local and regional semiconductor and advanced industries, including Mesa County in western Colorado, Larimer and Weld counties in northern Colorado, and nine counties in southern Colorado. Gov. Polis, OEDIT, and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) announced this summer that the next round of Proposition 123 funding will prioritize modular housing, which can cut down the time needed to build a full home and provide more affordable options. “We need more housing now, and innovative building technologies developed in Colorado are an important part of the solution. Prioritizing modular housing for the next round of Proposition 123 funding will continue Colorado’s work to make sure more people can afford to live closer to the jobs and communities they love,” said Gov. Su Teatro, a 52-year-old Chicano theater in Denver, will be expanding with the acquisition of the 4,404-square-foot “Blue Building” across the street from their location. 🎭 The expansion demonstrates the company’s commitment to maintain the neighborhood's cultural identity and present themselves firmly as a cultural hub.
