do you know Rand Park? if you don't, it's time. rand followed his love for literature and storytelling through a super squiggly career path (english major! publishing! law school! fundraising!) and now finds himself teaching ethics and responsibility to business students at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where you'll find him wielding many-colored expo pens and sporting his signature bow tie. this week on *the uplift* we talk all things teaching and leadership. how if you can't be authentic (whatever that means to you bc yes it's a loaded term) it's hard to thrive. how much students, staff, and faculty long to chase their curiosity, be trusted to make independent decisions, and hear the transparent truth. and how those things are much easier for teachers than for leaders.
