A #compliance update with the Pay or Play Affordability for employee premiums in 2025. It's important to be thoughtful around constructing employee premiums.... As an employer, you need to consider: 1) What can my employees afford? 2) What can my business afford (no margin, no mission)? 3) Are there any legal implications to how I am constructing the employees' cost share? 4) Are there any unintended consequences to how I am constructing the employees' cost share? #ironsharpensiron

Employers, when your employees go on a leave of absence, it is absolutely your responsibility to disengage them from communication. The onus is not on the employee. Please be sure to do your due diligence when you remove them from payroll to also remove them from sources of work communications. #LeaveOfAbsence #LOA #EmployerResponsibilities #DisconnectFromWork

3moAgreed. It somewhat reminds me of common situation I witnessed with Gartner. Several Client Partners applied for sales positions back in their hometowns. They were rejected. They then quit Gartner, moved out of Fort Myers, FL ... back to their hometowns took a position with a different company, then re-applied for the next open Gartner sales position and got the job, no problem. Seemed like an unnecessary step they had to endure.
