You NEED to Get Better at Sales. No ifs, buts, or maybes. Let me explain it using simple math. Think of fractions. We’ll use any business practice as the numerator (Dropshipping, Consulting, Social Media Marketing, Ecommerce, SaaS, and many more). The business practice is the top number, but the backbone, the big number that divides and supports the business practice, is SALES. Sales is the denominator needed for any business. Now, let's expand on that. Do you not own a business? Do you have zero desire to own a business in your life even? Chances are, you're on LinkedIn, in need/searching for a JOB. Every time you send a resume, a cover letter, or an application, you are SELLING yourself as the "best candidate" to the employer. If you become better at sales and selling, you will know better ways to explain yourself, your characteristics, work ethic, skills, and prior experiences. Without sales, YOU and YOUR BUSINESS have no BACKBONE. Mastering sales is mastering communication, persuasion, and value demonstration. It's the core skill that can elevate your career, regardless of your field or aspirations. Invest in learning sales.
