This significant talent scarcity isn't just a challenge for SAP and its implementation partners; it's a critical concern for the customer organizations utilizing SAP, which is often overlooked. This leads to massive risk on two fronts: 1. Transformational Potential: Only customers who continued exploring innovative capabilities beyond SAP ECC in 2005 can evolve into Digital Champions equipped to navigate 21st-century challenges. 2. The Risk of Stagnation: Organizations relying on lean migration without embracing SAP S/4HANA's new capabilities risk stagnation. It is kind of self-irony to post about best SAP implementation methods when your own project is behind the schedule. Or maybe that was the reason why great assets from Capgemini grabbed my attention. My #SAP network, sharing and recommending for Project- / Delivery- / Service- Managers great series of webinars about Large SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program Method by Capgemini: https://lnkd.in/dTPKgy9y For me particularly Webinar 2: How to shape your transformation journey? and Webinar 4: How to set up your large transformation program for success? were very useful from value management perspective. My personal learnings and improvements for next engagement: 🤔 Clear Why? What? How? Who? How long? Feel? model 📊 Build (or validate if joining in the later phases) strong business case from two parts: Top Down Value Case (mainly financial focus) and Bottom Up Business Case (mainly operational focus). Have leadership and stakeholders buy-in. 📝 Requirements must be captured in the context of target benefits. 🚀 Business case and requirements shall lead to value driven release plan.
