Our 4th Cupping Session of the year with Q Thailand Project took place last week during the Thai Coffee Fest. 🇹🇭 Q Project Thailand trains Thai coffee producers and processors in post-harvest processing best practices and quality standards to produce high-quality, high-value specialty coffee and connect these producers with new markets. During our cupping session, participants sampled excellent Arabica and Robusta coffees from the project! Have you joined one of our cupping sessions or tried Thai coffee before? We’d love to hear your experiences! A special thank you to HR Peaberry Thai, Big Black Box, Home Barista, and Dalla Corte for hosting the project and supporting Thai Specialty Coffee during the event.

Did you know? The washed process was developed in the 1850s, marking a significant advancement in coffee processing, following the natural method. This development was driven by the need to boost coffee production volumes in coffee regions. Thanks to the Industrial Revolution, this was possible. New machinery for pulping, hulling, and drying coffee revolutionized the industry, making coffee processing faster, more efficient, and consistent. These advancements paved the way for the modern techniques we use today. Since then, the washed process has evolved significantly, with new fermentation techniques emerging to enhance coffee flavor and quality. What fermentation techniques are popular in your region? Share your thoughts and experience with us! 🌍👇 #CQI #WashedProcess #coffeeprocessing #coffeequality
