Festival seasons, like #Navratri, act as powerful rejuvenators for the soul. The vibrant celebrations, the joyous gatherings, and the cultural richness serve as a reminder of the beauty of life. Witnessing the enthusiasm and positivity around festivals, we absorb a collective energy that fuels our spirit. #bounceback The festive season, with its traditions and rituals, instills a sense of #connection and belonging. This connection, both with our roots and with the people around us, becomes a wellspring of #motivation. It's a time to reflect on the year gone by, learn from #experiences, and gather #strength for the journey ahead. Moreover, festivals often bring a pause to the routine #hustle, allowing for moments of introspection and gratitude. This reflective pause becomes a source of inner strength, helping us come back with renewed vigor and purpose. In essence, the festive season becomes a catalyst for self-renewal. It #encourages us to shed fatigue, embrace #positivity, and return to our endeavors with a heart brimming with resilience and a mind fueled by the collective #spirit of celebration. #letsplaygarba

Approaching the new year, it's crucial to grasp that the festival season, typically spanning a mere month, prompts a distinctive change in spending habits and behavior. With just two weeks remaining, let's consider embracing a year-round perspective on the festive spirit. Rather than concentrating celebrations within a limited timeframe, adopting a mindset that treats every month with a festive essence can transform our approach. As we navigate these final weeks, let's acknowledge the financial implications of concentrated spending during the festive season. By spreading the joy and festivities evenly throughout the year, we can alleviate financial strain and cultivate a more sustainable lifestyle. In the spirit of the season, I extend warm wishes for a blessed festival to all. May these celebrations be a time to reconnect with family, fostering meaningful connections and shared moments of joy. Embrace the opportunity to rest, rejuvenate, and reflect, as these moments are precious and contribute to a balanced and fulfilling life. Here's to a year-round celebration of gratitude, togetherness, and well-deserved moments of respite. Wishing you all a joyous and blessful festival season ahead.

Dynamic Hospitality and Security Leader | I help hotels become safer places to stay, better places to work, and more profitable businesses | Carlson Fellow Award Winner and IFSEC #1 Global Influencer.
Has #unreasonablehospitality always been unreasonable? I love this post by Will Guidara, service is noble and the work people in hospitality perform matters, but... In the '70s, Brian Spikes, wrote, "In order to succeed, you must make mundane tasks exciting and interesting." in his book "Boss is a Four-letter Word", When I started my career in hotels in the '80s, every staff member was empowered to do whatever they felt was necessary to make guests happy. That empowerment gave us all a sense of purpose. Kurt Ritter, the long-serving, legendary CEO of Rezidor, the precursor to Radisson Hotel Group, often told us that work had to be fun and rewarding. All this was reasonable until we started to disempower employees and standardize everything we did and said. As the use of technology increased, we used technology to further limit how much hospitality an employee was able to offer. (In some companies, even hotel general managers need corporate approval to change room prices.) We even tried to standardize what people say and do. That's why almost every restaurant server seems to run an identical script. "Is this your first time dining with us?", "How are the first few bites tasting?", "Got any plans for the rest of the evening?" I love what Will Guidara is doing and it's encouraging to see how positively his book, "Unreasonable Hospitality" is influencing change. Who knows, maybe down the road, we'll call great guest service "reasonable hospitality" again... From our little corner of the world, we're doing our part too. Our book, "Spin the Bottle Service - Hospitality in the Age of A.I." was published in 2021. We've also launched "Ditch the Script" workshops that help hospitality businesses make jobs more meaningful and guest experiences more memorable. Ditch the Script helps people understand that in a world of social media, storytellers, and influencers, scripted service is as boring for those who provide it as it is for the guests who receive it and that choosing the path to caring and personal service will help everyone discover the positive powers of hospitality. Hit the "Let's connect" button on my profile page for links to where you can buy our book or to set up a call to discuss how our "Ditch the Script" workshops will benefit your business. #hospitality #itsthepeople #itsacareer The Always Care Consulting Company, Inc. In hospitality, we may not be saving lives, but we sure can help make them better. We can help people celebrate, we can help them heal, we can make people feel seen, we can inspire kindness. There is importance in the work- IT MATTERS. There is nobility is serving others. 💪🍍 #unreasonablehospitality

Founder of Sunflower Event Team - taking the stress out of your events both in-person and virtual, large and small! 🌻
We have seen a rise in the request for personal touches at events to ensure that guests and attendees feel as immersed and included as possible 💛 We love working with clients and their guest list to curate this element - whether that be a specific gift, a bespoke food / drink offer or seating plan 🎁 Events look effortless at times (and that's what we want you to think! 😉) but a lot of thinking about guests' subliminal experiences goes into them! Have you had a great gift or experience? Do let me know! 🌻 #PersonalTouches #BespokeGifts #BespokeExperiences #SubliminalMarketing
