🌟 Exciting Times Ahead at MJBizCon! 🌟
As I gear up for my seventh MJBizCon, I’m thrilled to announce that this year, I’ll be stepping up from attendee to speaker! It’s an honor to share the stage with brilliant minds on 11/28, discussing the crucial balance between regulators' consumption and creation in social equity policies.
With years of MJBizCon experience, here are some nuggets of advice for newcomers and veterans alike:
1. Pace Yourself: Remember, the real networking magic at MJBizCon happens at night. So, pace yourself during those tempting Vegas evenings. You want to be fully present for those crucial conversations and, more importantly, remember them the next day!
2. Come Prepared: Have a game plan for key after-events. These gatherings are often where the most valuable connections are made.
3. Note-Taking is Key: Whether it’s scribbling on business cards or digital notes on your phone, ensure you have a system for post-event follow-ups. And it’s okay if some of those follow-ups happen in January!
4. Embrace Competition: Don’t be discouraged by others in your field. The diversity of perspectives is what makes this industry thrive.
5. It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint: MJBizCon is intense, and lasting through it requires stamina and strategy.
This year, I’m breaking my record with a 73-hour stay in Vegas. You’ll find me hydrating, sporting comfortable Nikes, and soaking in every bit of this incredible event.
