Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) At Kingmaker, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are essential principles that drive innovation, foster creativity, and create a more dynamic workplace culture. In the plywood manufacturing and exporting industry, we actively promote DEI through several initiatives and practices: Diverse Workforce: We prioritize recruiting talent from diverse backgrounds, including gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic status. Our diverse workforce brings a variety of perspectives to the table, enriching our decision-making processes and fostering a culture of inclusivity. Equal Opportunity Employment: We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of their background or identity. Our hiring and promotion processes are merit-based, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to succeed and advance in their careers. Inclusive Workplace Policies: We have implemented inclusive workplace policies that promote fairness, respect, and dignity for all employees. This includes zero-tolerance policies for discrimination, harassment, and bias, as well as accommodations for employees with disabilities. Employee Resource Groups: We support employee resource groups (ERGs) that provide a platform for employees to connect, share experiences, and advocate for diversity and inclusion within the company. These groups play a crucial role in fostering a sense of belonging and representation for underrepresented groups. Community Engagement: We engage with local communities to support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, such as educational programs, skill development initiatives, and outreach efforts aimed at marginalized groups. Through these efforts, we are committed to building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive industry where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. We recognize that our commitment to DEI is not only the right thing to do but also essential for driving sustainable growth and innovation in the plywood manufacturing and exporting sector. #Kingmaker #plywood #DEI #export #workculture #teamwork #worklifebalance

It has already been 20 years since we founded The Chatham Group. I still remember the day Tom Galvanek, CSM and I walked into MRINetwork in Cleveland, OH to discuss opening our firm. 20 years ago, I was about to graduate from Rutgers University and was unsure what the future had for me. After 20 years, it is clear to me that most people desire a meaningful career. People want purpose. People desire meaningful interactions with others. People work hard for their families and want to work for companies that understand this. I have also seen many different types of leaders over the last 20 years. The leaders who shine, attract amazing talent under them, and motivate positive impact for their organizations are the ones who figuratively bend down to uplift others. They use their vulnerability to gain trust and support others with their goals. Service is at the heart of great leadership. While it is true that there is an ongoing war for great talent, great organizations understand that people make them great. If companies care for people, and integrate that mentality throughout their culture, interviewing process, and ongoing training efforts, success is gained. Over the next 20 years, we endeavor to demonstrate this principle as an organization. We care about people first. We care about our people. We care about you in your career. We care about your ability to hire great people in your industry. This will be our stalwart focus. Here's to the next 20 years of serving people! #recruiting #wefindgreatpeople #20yearanniversary #hiringtrends
Our #MondayMotivation comes in the form of celebrating The Chatham Group 20 years with our network of global recruiters and talent management professionals. Under the stewardship of Tom Galvanek, CSM - The Chatham Group focuses on placements in Chemicals, Plastics and Speciality Gases. Congratulations on your 20 years with the network! #franchisebusiness #officeanniversary #executivesearch

GAP Inc. Another story about how old school brands pool outperformed the market by returns and earnings for the year ended 2023👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Earnings higher than expected!!! Still can't believe that the target price provided by analysts wearing Hugo Boss suits and playing golf on weekends is undervalued even for high value brands. I mean the old school brands everyone is aware of. I was in DC back in 2010. Just a regular window shopping weekend day for a regular dude practicing academic internship. You know, checking the price tags for the stuff I didn’t have plans on buying, or couldn’t afford. You check the first one - a T-shirt, the Lacoste brand. The store looks too fancy for a regular dude - that’s probably too expensive. “Man, I’m no Tiger Woods, Roger Federer or something, just need regular, neutral T-shirt without writings, no logo, one color only”. You check the Hugo Boss brand - probably the most preferred brand among analysts, who cannot afford the Canali suit, Zegna ties though. Good T-shirts, high quality, $80. - “80?! Bro, I’m just a regular dude, that’s too expensive for me. I was planning to grab some sandwiches during the next 7 days or something. Just need a T-shirt to wear under the sweater without any writings." When you buy a T-shirt for $80, or something like that, you wear it for 5 years at least. I mean I still wear that Hugo Boss zipped hoodie I bought back in 2011 in Amsterdam duty free Then you see a group of people gathering at a really cool place, trying clothes at a nice and tidy boutiques. Driven by that hype around you check the stuff, check the price first. $25. Made in Jordan, Indonesia or something like that. - “$25?!!! Can I have the purple one, the navy blue one and the black one, completely neutral, so that I can wear that under my jumper”?🤣 ... and stay away from junk food for at least next two weeks. Next time when you’re abroad, completely different country, completely different continent, completely different culture, the first store you’re searching in a shopping mall is BANANA REPUBLIC one. Damn, $25 was about 4K Kazakhstani tenge back in 2010. Now $25 is worth 12K some. GAP, in a completely different culture, if established in Kazakhstan, will be considered as a premium brand, where after all the inefficiencies of the customs system a regular T-shirt costs at least $80 or 37K some. At least. Still can’t believe GAP doesn't have a factory in Kazakhstan given our currency devaluation driven wage rate Still can't believe that the target price provided by analysts wearing Hugo Boss suits and playing golf on weekends is way undervalued, considering the fact that it is GAP, BANANA and OLD NAVY one. The Old School brands that have way more value. I guess it is at least $25 per share P.S. That goddamn purple Banana Republic T-shirt is still somewhere in my wardrobe... 14 years after... Still wearable… if get in shape of the 2010 version of old school me))
Spring has sprung, and we're celebrating with fresh pastels, feminine silhouettes and...nostalgia! This is also sustainability

Having different colored lanyards to represent staff tenure can contribute to a more inclusive, respectful, and motivated workplace environment, below are a few of the reasons why we at OSBIndia Private Limited have implemented this positive visual reinforcement. Visual Recognition, It provides an easy and quick visual way for colleagues, visitors, and management to identify the level of experience or tenure of our employees. Respect and Recognition, It acknowledges and honors the dedication and loyalty of long-serving staff, promoting a culture of appreciation and respect within OSBI. Encourages Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing, Newer employees may naturally seek guidance and mentorship from those with longer tenure, leading to increased collaboration and knowledge sharing. Promotes Unity and Inclusivity, While showcasing differences in tenure, it also emphasizes the unity of the team, as everyone is part of the same organization despite varying levels of experience. Enhances Organizational Culture, It can contribute to shaping a positive organizational culture by highlighting values such as longevity, commitment, and growth within the workplace. Fun Fact - Our colours represent our STARS values. #Strongertogether #Aimhigh #Respectothers #WeAreOSBI Clive VanBuerle (VanBerl) Anil Philip Sandeep V K
