Access to justice has been a major challenge for migrant workers. One of the key reasons for hiring migrant workers, is their constrained access to justice. The employers and intermediaries know that informally engaging migrant workers at lower wages than natives, for longer work hours, for dangerous work will enhance their profit and do not easily attract any penalty.
