I fix how lawyers think about their office, the work they do, and how they get it done. Tech agnostic. Firm size irrelevant. I have availability. Click link ↓ to schedule free CoffeeTalk consult.
Last week, I realized that Outlook had inserted an extra step into email. Whenever a document/file is attached, I now had to choose: Send as an attachment or Send as a link. I NEVER want to send links and only want files to go as attachments, so having to stop and make this selection over and over annoyed both the geek and efficiency peep in me. A quick snuffle to learn it is easy to fix, takes less than two minutes, and you don't even have to reboot. Below are the steps and I attach a teeny video (so you can see where to look). 5 Steps to Fix Outlook Attachments: 1. In Outlook, upper left, click on File 2. Look on lower left for Options 3. Make sure you are in General (upper left) and scroll until you see Attachment Options 4. Select the bottom option: Always attach them as copies. 5. Hit OK. Be sure to click OK or the changes won't stick and if you do make the change, comment and let me know. Generally, when I have an issue, others do too and your commenting will let me know I'm not alone on this one!
