Did you know that 88% of the British public do not fully trust brands to follow the science on climate change all the time, and 91% do not fully trust them to accurately portray their climate commitments? 🌍 A new report today from Conscious Advertising Network and dentsu reveals that climate change remains a significant concern for Britons. The Koch family foundations’ $145 million to fuel climate denial and climate delay has played an integral role in preventing us to having already transitioned in time to a clean energy future of cheap renewables and storage that prevented potential collapse of our climate stability. The other side to their story is it’s kept us locked in to energy supply from a handful of nations (and along with religion) has been a key factor behind the instability in the Middle East since the 1960s Surely low cost energy, political stability, decentralised resilient energy systems for the masses is a better option than power and money accumulating in the hands of a tiny percentage who then through masterful well funded PR and media, control the narrative and manipulate and divide us?? It’s not too late yet to make up for lost time. The best time to plant a tree was in the past but the next best time is today.

Case study spotlight: Bump into Brum 💡 Bump into Brum was a creative and media campaign created in partnership with climate NGO Possible's car-free cities campaign. Following insight-led strategies informed by our research into 'persuadable' audiences, we ditched the tired green tropes and led with personal benefits. The results? 🌍 66% of people who related to the campaign were more likely to consider changing their behaviour to tackle the climate crisis in the next 6 months.  🚗 We saw a 40% uplift in people agreeing with the statement "Neighbourhoods should be for people, not cars".  🏆 And to top it all of, it won us a trophy at the Ad Net Zero Awards 2023, in the Travel and Transport category Want to learn more about the campaign?
