Australian Scientists Unveil Breakthrough PFAS Removal Method Despite ongoing efforts to develop methods for degrading PFAS, current approaches are hampered by inefficiencies and environmental concerns. A groundbreaking study by a team of Australian scientists has introduced a catalyst system capable of initiating reactions to degrade common types of branched PFAS. This innovative method promises more efficient and sustainable PFAS remediation in the future by using soluble porphyrin ZVM systems for defluorination.
