Global Appeal to Musicians: Make a Difference Again! In times of crisis, music has always been a powerful force for change. Remember Live Aid and “We Are the World”? These events not only united musicians from around the globe but also mobilized millions and brought hope and aid to those in need. Today, we face new crises with suffering and pain being ignored in Ukraine and Palestine. It’s time to remember the transformative power of our art and unite once more. Let’s raise the voices and instruments to demand action and justice. Music can be a beacon of hope and an irresistible force for change. If every artist joins this cause, we can create a wave of solidarity that cannot be ignored. Share this message, use your talent to inspire and mobilize. Let’s show that when music comes together for a common purpose, it can truly make a difference. We are united in this fight. Let’s use the power of music to turn lament into action and indifference into hope. #musicforpeace #UnitedByMusic

I have such a wide taste in music. Like seriously, if we've never talked music, we should. This live performance by Black Sabbath from 1970 is so amazing. Thanks to Greg Dohler for bringing it up in conversation over lunch today. Greg's a great photographer and friend, and it was great to commiserate about this awesome performance. What does this have to do with business? Black Sabbath was panned by the critics of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Rolling Stone said they were "Like Cream! But worse." But watch this film, and you'll see that from a performance point of view, they're amazing. They were operating on a different level and totally misunderstood by the prevailing opinions. Isn't that our dream as business owners? To press beyond, to be on the cutting edge of our industry? To innovate and grow? Final thought: if my dream as a business owner had a soundtrack, I'd definitely want Bill Ward playing the drums. Good gravy!

EVENT SECURITY This is an example of how to secure your event. Multiagency coordination on intelligence and operations leads to a thwarted plot and no one being harmed. See my commentary on CNN on the cancelation of Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna. https://lnkd.in/eQHHQgEw

I am at a loss for words. How can anyone legitimize or support the behavior of these anti-Israeli, antisemitic, pro-Hamas, pro-Hezbollah, and now, pro-Hitler hordes? I wish that every politician had the moral clarity on this issue that Mayor Eric Andrews of NYC displays in this video from earlier today commenting upon yesterday's pro-Hamas, pro-Hitler, anti-Jewish "protest" at the Nova Music Festival commemorative exhibit. It is time for decent people to break their silence and speak up and declare that this behavior is unacceptable. It is hate speech of a type that we have heard from no other group in America, toward no other group in America. These people apparently have no concern for their souls, no fear of God, and no regard for life, including their own. I suspect we have the only sitting President in my 65-year lifetime that will not empower law enforcement to take decisive actions against these criminals. (Calling for the death of all Jews is a Federal and State crime in all 50 states.) It is time for decent people to break their silence and call upon their Congresspeople and this Presidential Administration to take actions to quell this civil insurrection before death counts of innocent passerbys start escalating here in the United States. #StopTheInsanityNow #NovaMusicFestivalExhibition #HateCrime #NYCMayorEricAndrewsSetsExcellentExample
NYC Mayor, Eric Adams, is speaking strongly against those who protested yesterday against the Nova music festival exhibition 1️⃣ Protesting against the victims of a daylight mass*cre is barbaric 2️⃣ Denying the atrocities of October 7th is atrocious 3️⃣ Waving terror flags is illegal and dangerous This is not free speech. It risks the safety of New Yorkers, especially the Jewish people who live there. It must be stopped. Now.

In a Gotham-like city, a severe water shortage caused by a 20-year drought has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities regulated by a megalomaniacal company, Urine Good Company, that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Find out more about Urinetown, The Musical playing at RADA from 30 May: https://bit.ly/3TU8IC4
