What a privilege to chair the Asia Pacific meeting today for ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research. The Asia Pacific Patient Representatives Roundtable focused on health equity and the importance of the patient perspective, valuing voices and cultural competence and safety.   Our speakers Jenny Zhang and Kiri Prentice presented on why it is critically important to have patients involved in all aspects of health. They explained the importance of using quality patient experience data and patient-initiated data to make informed health decisions.   If we are going to address health equity and improve health outcomes for all, we need to be prepared to prioritise and value the vital lessons that people with lived experience have to teach us.  #healthequity #healthoutcomes #patientvoice #patientdata #patientrepresentation

Today is World Health Day and the #WHO chose “my health, my right” as this year’s theme. It underlines the existing global disparities in health access and education. While the majority of countries worldwide acknowledge health as a human right within their constitutions, the right to health remains increasingly under threat for millions of people. We at Fresenius strive to actively impact health equity through affordable and accessible high-quality healthcare products and services.
