The Turlock Independence Day Celebration kicks of this Friday evening! If you haven't already, mark your calendar, invite your friends and family, and get ready to come out and celebrate with the whole community. Details are as follows: Parade: Friday June 28th at 6:30 PM Drone Show Friday June 28th at 9:00 PM Car Show: Saturday, June 29th at 8:00 AM Location: 115 South Golden State Blvd, Turlock, CA, United States, California 95380 Special thanks to the Turlock Downtown Property Owner's Association for all that they have done to host this community favorite event. Tag someone in the comments you know should be there this weekend! And we'll see you there!

I'm Anthony Sims with the City of Turlock. I'm Juan Vargas, also with the city of Turlock, and I'm Travis Regalo, director of the Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association. We're really excited about this year's Downtown Turlock Independence Day celebration. This is a great partnership and collaboration between the city of Turlock and the Turlock Downtown Property Owners Association, and we wanted to inform you of the events to unfold. The event is the weekend before the 4th of July. It's the kickoff to the season, June 28th, Friday night. June 28th at 6:30 PM will be the kickoff of the Parade of Patriots. And then right after that at 9:00 PM, we'll do a drone show right there on 1st St. and Central Park so you'll get good seats to see it. It's a huge drone show, goes up about 400 feet in the air, so you can see it from your house. If you don't have to make it out to the parade or if you don't do large crowds, make sure you step out on your porch and check it out. And then the following day on Saturday, June 29th, we'll have our traditional car show from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It may end sooner if if it's really hot. So they're so depending on weather will be the the time closure. But we want to make sure you guys come on out, enjoy the car show, enjoy the parade and enjoy the makers market and the farmers market. So this year's grand Marshall is Joe Fagundes. Joe had passed away before the start of this event, so his family will be riding in in memory of if you wanted to read about Joe and all he's done for the community and why. Was selected as the Grand Marshall. I highly encourage you to read his story. It's an awesome family friendly event for all ages. So bring your little ones, bring your families, your pets, come down to their beautiful downtown area. It's going to it's a great venue for our community events, so make sure to to come on out and support. Check out the caption below For more information on the Independence Day celebration.
