🔴 Stop using your planner as your relief supervisor! One of the BIGGEST, and most common mistake when it comes to maintenance planning is that… Planners aren't really planning. Instead, planners often end up being a combination of— → a planner → an expediter → an administrator → a relief supervisor → an emergency work manager → and an all-around t troubleshooter. And guess what? When you ask a planner to do all that, they won't be spending much time planning. And that means you’re not getting the productivity that you're looking for. So, remember— ❌ A planner must NEVER work for the current week. ✅ A planner must ALWAYS be working for future weeks. ❌ A planner shouldn’t be overwhelmed with admin or emergency work. Does your planner actually plan your future work? Let us know in the comments. #maintenance #reliability #ReliabilityAcademy

Maintenance “experts”? Yeah right! 😒 ⛔It may be seem “cheaper” on the front end to use in-house maintenance team, it may not be the most effective or efficient…and that could cost you. Weigh all the options… 🛠Scope of work 🛠Expertise level 🛠Cost 🛠Quality control 🛠Availability 🛠Long-term goals and investment 🤜 There is no one-size-fits-all solution, and the optimal choice may vary based on the unique circumstances of each property. 🗣COMMENT what your experience has been using in-house maintenance over general contractor!
