This is per a recent article in Forbes Advisor. According to various other sources (some of which quote global research), this percentage varies between 30%-33%. Given the expense of recruiting and training a new staff member, this is staggering! So, what's going wrong? We're 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to reflect these changing expectations.⁣ ⁣ 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 remains crucial. We're fostering stronger manager-employee relationships, knowing they directly impact productivity and profitability. ⁣ ⁣ Simultaneously, we're addressing burnout and stress through flexible work arrangements and 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬.⁣ ⁣ The shift from administrative to strategic roles has placed data at the forefront. We surveyed over 300 full time employees across the UK to find out if they felt they consistently were able to do what they do best at work. We found that a significant number of respondents weren't able to agree, with some notable differences in responses between those who are managers vs those who are not. There was also significant variation for non-managers as their age increased. Some 66% of respondents said they felt it would be very or extremely valuable if their manager was better equipped to harness their individual strengths. https://lnkd.in/ewgcqV2X
