Beautiful, Cheap Campgrounds In Central Florida. Since we try to get away in the RV for a few days each month, I get to test my RV lawyer skills. For those who say I shouldn't combine work and play, I always have the answer. I don't work if I don't feel like it. The only downside to living in sunny Florida, where year round RVing is possible, is that many campgrounds are very expensive. As an example, it can easily cost upwards of $1,000 to stay a few days at Disney's Ft. Wilderness, and $600 at a commercial campground like KOA. The good news is that Orange County has a beautiful campground system, that includes Moss Park and other campgrounds. We will be spending 5 days there later in April, and a week in Magnolia park in May. Just a few minutes from the theme parks, and beautiful lakefront camping. Cost? Under $100 for a whole week. $23 a day. Wanna get away? Don't get on a cramped airplane, and wait in line at security check lines, and pay a fortune for hotels and rent a cars. Get an RV.
