As the jury deliberates in NY, our patience is required. This is the process of the rule of law and we need the civil guardrails it represents. When a verdict comes out, we should thank the jurors for their service and thoughtful discussions in that jury room. I am seeing reports of some people inciting violence, particularly against the judge, and we all must challenge it if we hear or see it.
