As the jury deliberates in NY, our patience is required. This is the process of the rule of law and we need the civil guardrails it represents. When a verdict comes out, we should thank the jurors for their service and thoughtful discussions in that jury room. I am seeing reports of some people inciting violence, particularly against the judge, and we all must challenge it if we hear or see it. It is our collective role to maintain civil norms, and not normalize violence no matter the outcome. ##discussdebatedisagree ##abuseisnotanoption ##violenceisnotanoption
