We've partnered with Flock Safety to create a first-of-its-kind integration that will combine the most advanced air support system in the world with best-in-class license plate recognition and gunshot detection. When Flock sensors detect stolen vehicles, AMBER alert vehicles or even gunshots, public safety agencies can rapidly dispatch Aerodome drones through automated triggers, directly to the detection location in mere seconds. Our partnership and integration provides a comprehensive, city-wide solution aimed at reducing the strain on public safety resources and enabling patrol officers to cut down response times to an average of 86 seconds. This integration is already live and helping our shared customers every day. Our partners at Elk Grove PD are leveraging our DFR 2.0 system to create a safer community while enhancing their ability to allocate resources efficiently. Police1 writes, "As a part of the Police Department’s Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program, deployed drones will amplify officers’ ability to respond to live 911-operator dispatch calls and send necessary resources to a scene for service, enabling staff to locate, report and track suspects and vehicles involved in ongoing crimes." https://lnkd.in/g9SW_UU6

How do people stay safe when technology is growing faster than we can communicate? A man flew his brand-new drone over Ohio State University Stadium and is now facing charges. He flew over the game to share his exciting new tech with co-workers. We need obvious systems in place to avoid this kind of chaos in airspace. Why Trump Got Shot - Theory Two - Technology Failures 1 - Radio Interoperability On the day of the incident, Secret Service, State and Local police were all operating on different radio channels. Local law enforcement was only able to call into a State command center that was then relayed to the Secret Service. Local law enforcement told Senators that they had no way of communicating directly with the Secret Service. Testimony is that there was about 30 seconds between the time local law enforcement reported that there was a man on the roof with a gun and the time the shooter began shooting. Acting Secret Service Director said that the Secret Service didn’t get the information in time and that the information was “siloed” and “stuck”. 2 - Bandwidth Issues The Secret Service claims to have had cellular band width issues that prevented their equipment from working properly. 3 - No Dedicated Bandwidth Channels “Moving forward, we are leveraging resources from the Department of Homeland Security and others to make sure that we have dedicated connectivity so that we’re not reliant on public domain — so that we can ensure that whatever assets we have in place, those assets are operational,” said the Acting Director of the Secret Service 4 - Drone Issues The drones that the Secret Service had available (known as a counter unmanned aerial system - UAS) had operational issues. 5- Drone Jamming Equipment Was not operational at the site at the time the shooter was flying his drone over the site. #WhyTrumpGotShot #Trump #SecretService #Senate #President
