Our #H1_2023 results are in line with our 2023 objectives. It gives us confidence to pursue the execution plan of #LeadTheFuture to achieve our 2025 targets. In Europe and France, our quarterly results in retail services illustrate the positive momentum of our value strategy, supported by price increases. We will fully benefit from this in France in the second half of the year. We can also confirm the continuing recovery in Spain, where EBITDAaL rose by 11% in the first half. The excellent performance in Middle East and Africa is the result of our investments in the network, continued focus on customers satisfaction and the very strong rebound of Orange Money. These results offset those of Orange Business, whose EBITDAaL is still down sharply despite a 2.4% increase in sales in the second quarter. Our teams are fully focused on implementing our transformation plan. Many thanks to the teams who dedicate themselves on a daily basis to the achievement of our objectives. The positive results this first half would not be possible without this collective effort. Together, we are transforming and building the Orange Group of tomorrow. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eQNXWRVx

At Vodafone we take immense pride in our purpose and mission of winning our customers' trust through everything we do. Our Legal and Business Integrity teams are key to this mission, playing a leading role in helping our business do what's right. Being legally right is of course important, but in times of change and challenge, acting ethically makes all the difference. Last week, members of our Legal and Business Integrity team took time out to refocus on a question that is really pertinent for our times: Why good people do bad things? It was a real honor for me to present and facilitate a panel discussion on this topic featuring Vodafone senior management and Osborne Clarke. As you can expect from such a brilliant panel, there were plentiful of lessons and insights. A few especially worth remembering are: >> It's not just the tone from the top: Our leaders and managers must role model the ethical values and principles through their actions, inspiring their teams to do the same. >> Working ethically does not mean compromising on our ambitions or our commercial goals: it means pursuing them in a way that is sustainable and in the best interest of our customers and society. >> If something does not feel right, it probably isn't. Take a moment to listen to your gut and think things through before you make a hasty decision. >> You are never alone: When you see something wrong, reach out to those who can help you. Raise your concerns in a safe space, so that we can protect our business and our people before things go wrong. >> Finally, we all have a role in creating the right environment we all want at work. Taking ownership of driving right behaviours isn't just the right thing to do, it is our duty too! Conversations like these are key to bringing what truly matters to the forefront of our people: not just doing the right things, but also doing them in the right way, for the right reasons. #doingwhatsright #ethicsatwork #integrity Warwick C Jesse Soria Jane Park-Weir (nee Rogers) Simon Goldson Osborne Clarke - UK Vodafone
