One would think that the global demand for Armored Brigades would lead to the assumption that the U.S. either needs more Armored Brigades OR that those Brigades need to be stationed (with families) in the regions they are most likely required…. The U.S. will not build more Armored brigades: so what options are on the table to meet the requirements? In over 20 years the demand has not let up.

This is a great story about leadership. Leaders are not defined by the rank or clothing they wear. They are defined by their abilities to lead a team. Remember to look for leaders within your organizations at all levels! Remember to take the time to recognize your teammates. Without a team no organization can be successful.

oin The United States Civil Defense (USCDA) Today American Military veterans, American Militias, Survivalist, preppers, even the VFW, retired U.S. Marines, Sailors and Army groups, The American Logion and folks from all walks of life are fed up and are preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. Many of these groups are uniting and joining forces in large numbers. One such group the USCDA claims 1,000 plus chapters across America. Members many are former and current military, law enforcement, fire fighters and regular citizens that are organizing other organizations and recruiting nation wide. According to their web site which is open to the public they boast that they are instructing their members nation-wide to form up special teams and sub-teams in each USCDA chapter, at the city, town and county level, modeled loosely on the military rank for discipline proposes during crisis activities. Each chapter is a model, for a similar purpose: to be both a potential operational unit for community disasters, security and support during public crisis, but also, as mission #1, to serve as training and leadership cadre, to assist in organizing neighborhood watches, organizing veterans halls to provide community civil defense, forming County Sheriff Posses, strengthening existing CERT, volunteer fire, search-and-rescue, reserve deputy systems, etc. General membership is $30.00 per year with a free USCDA official cap. Leadership member Fee $40.00 per year and includes cap. Current members interested in up grading to a leadership status is $10.00 Leadership status allows you to obtain rank and become an candidate for A Team status within the USCDA.
