One of the most impactful things line managers can do for apprentices is helping them understand their key strengths. We are in a better place to take risks and learn when we feel confident in our strengths. #PersonalDevelopment #BuildConfidence #WeAreUnique #EveryoneHasASuperpower
We always compare ourselves to others when instead we should be celebrating our own special gifts, showing the world what makes us unique…

What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you? It's about who you are and where you have come from to get where you are today. A time to share and celebrate the Hispanic/Latino heritage with friends and family by enjoying the traditions, cuisine, culture, and music. What have been some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career? That dreams don't work unless you do. What is a recipe, food or snack that reminds you the most of your home, culture or heritage? Street tacos (steak, soft corn tortillas, cilantro, onions, lime, and guacamole). What can you and your fellow teammates do to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month? Encourage others to learn about Hispanic/Latino culture. Explore the music and dancing, attend events specific to the culture, shop at local Hispanic shops around their area, and enjoy some Hispanic cuisine.

Today, January 4th, holds special significance as World Braille Day 2024 unfolds. Braille, recognized as a sophisticated method of reading and communication, serves as a symbol of hope for individuals facing visual impairments or dealing with the challenges of limited vision. On this notable occasion, we reflect on the profound importance of commemorating the birth anniversary of Louis Braille, the visionary behind this indispensable system. The global community, with unanimous acknowledgment, pays sincere homage to Braille on World Braille Day, emphasizing the enduring importance of this tactile script in fostering awareness among the general public. The primary objective of dedicating World Braille Day to scrutiny is to underscore the widespread acknowledgment of the Braille method. Even in the contemporary era, the omission of Braille format integration by institutions such as banks, hospitals, and restaurants is a matter of concern. This neglect, along with the apparent lack of encouragement, denies individuals facing visual impairment rightful access to information, perpetuating barriers that should have been dismantled by now. In the face of this ongoing challenge, a heartfelt wish is extended for a Happy Braille Day! #WorldBrailleDay #Inclusion #Accessibility #BrailleAwareness

I used to get caught up in getting it all done. There was always more to do and I thought if I could just work harder or work smarter, I would feel better. I would feel accomplished. But I just never got there. What I didn't realize, was that it would never be done. Celebrating was something I only did for the huge gains which did not happen very often. So I didn't cultivate those feelings of joy. I learned over time that celebrating your wins more frequently brought more joy to my life. So celebrate more often. You did great this week. Give yourself a pat on the back and find a way you can celebrate today. 🎉 🥂 Do something that brings you joy. 🔵 Have a picnic. You can do this at a park, at the beach, in your own yard, or even your own living room. 🔵 Cook a special meal. Doing this with friends or your kids can be fun. 🔵 Garden. Being outside, close to nature, and having something beautiful to look at when you are done can be a very joyful activity. 🔵 Explore your neighborhood. Just wander. You never know what treasures you will find. 🔵 Or just have a dance party. It's important to celebrate. It's important to cultivate those good feelings as much as you can. You are important! So, make it your purpose today to celebrate you.
