SC WILL DENY 6-3 What’s inexplicable is how his Excellancy’s climate brain trust has once again recklessly put an emission reduction rule in legal jeopardy. They think they’ve covered their behinds by including EVs in IRA for apriori Congressional cover in making EVs the only way to comply. Tis an EV mandate 6 ways on any Sunday. Congressional cover meant to cure the deficiency that sank CPP1 is wishful zealot thinking. This rule will not pass SC muster, surely a 6-3 demise.

The Environmental Protection Agency recently finalized clean truck and car standards. These standards tackle the climate crisis, clean up our air, and protect public health. However, some members of Congress are attempting or planning to introduce legislation that could back these health-protective standards. The clean car standards have massive benefits in addressing climate change and improving public health. They must remain intact as we move towards a zero-emission future. The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments is calling on nurses to send a message to your representative asking them to vote against any Congressional Review Act Resolution or any other legislative mechanism that aims to roll back EPA's car and truck standards.
