Liontrust Extends GAM Bid Offer Period as Seeks Investor Backing London-based firm has extended the offer by three days Its bid has met resistance from investors over the offer price Liontrust Asset Management Plc is extending the offer period to buy troubled asset manager GAM Holding AG as it tries to push ahead with a bid that has run into investor resistance. The London-based firm has decided to push out the deadline on its tender offer by three days to July 28, GAM said in a statement Monday. Heads up, Cat III AIF managers! SEBI just confirmed: investing in mutual funds (except liquid funds temporarily) is still a no-go for Category III AIFs. This comes in response to a recent query from Athena Alternative Investments Trust. Remember, Regulation 18 of the AIF Regulations outlines permissible investments for Cat III AIFs.
