Earlier this week, we announced the appointment of Scott Boatwright, MBA to Interim CEO and Jack Hartung’s decision to forgo retirement and remain with the organization indefinitely as President of Strategy, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure a smooth transition given Brian Niccol’s departure. After nearly 25 years, our Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Jack Hartung has decided to retire in March of 2025. Jack has been with us since 2002 when there were less than 200 restaurants, and he has been at the forefront of our growth and financial success. We are thankful for the many contributions he has made to Chipotle. 🙏 Adam Rymer, Vice President of Finance, will succeed Jack as CFO beginning January 1, 2025 which is a testament to our strong talent bench. Since Adam joined us in 2009, he has reported directly or indirectly to and been mentored by Jack. In addition, Jamie McConnell, Vice President, Controller, will assume the role of Chief Accounting and Administrative Officer on January 1, 2025 reporting to Adam. 🎉 🎉
