Digital media for visionary brands. Video Creator 🎥 Brand Builder ⚡ Founder & Creative Director of DRAGONLOFT
AI, machine learning, and the future of technology is a hot topic. I recently listened to a very interesting conversation on the subject by Emad Mostaque, founder of Stability AI, the company behind the Stable Diffusion technology. What are your thoughts on AI and how it will impact the economy, society, and technology over the next decade? I've always been fascinated by science fiction, technology and innovation. Personally I think these new tools will offer new creative opportunities and leverage for greater productivity, research, and application among all disciplines. Lately I've been experimenting with and implementing AI tools into my business and creative endeavors. These tools have helped with data scraping, ideation, scripting of videos, and copywriting, to name a few. Be sure to check out this brilliant segment below, one of a two part conversation! #artificialintelligence #technology #innovation

This weekend I completed a personal GENERATIVE AI bootcamp. I wanted to learn as much as I could about artificial intelligence. I wanted to know how to use this new tool effectively. Here is one of my proudest prompt. Compose a Launch Plan similar to Mattel's Barbie, for Sandals Resorts newest ultimate adult playground Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Within seconds - seconds! I got a well laid out game plan - amazed! On the intellectual side, everything I gleaned can be summarized by this except from Google/Bard, Terms and Privacy. To help with quality and improve our products (such as generative machine-learning models that power Bard), human reviewers read, annotate, and process your Bard conversations. We take steps to protect your privacy as part of this process. This includes disconnecting your conversations with Bard from your Google Account before reviewers see or annotate them. Please don’t enter confidential information in your Bard conversations or any data you wouldn’t want a reviewer to see or Google to use to improve our products, services, and machine-learning technologies. On the technical side, I leaned on Gustav. Gustav Söderström, Co-President, CPO & CTO at Spotify. he explains the technical side of AI in the simplest terms: https://lnkd.in/gvDznBD3 Then I latched on to this sticky podcast from Kipp Bodnar CMO at Hubspot, and Kieran Flanagan CMO at Zapier. This podcast covers the most forward thinking marketing topics weekly. https://lnkd.in/gzhzCUr8 ... #startups #markets #leanstartups #socialentrepreneurs #entrepreneursmindset #happyfounders #digitalnomad #femaleentrepreneur #podcasting #newpodcast #podcast #podcastlove #podcaster

When building his tech career, Rodrigo Liang had a north star - and it wasn't money or prestige. It was innovation. Rodrigo wanted to build something new. And, in 2017, he cofounded SambaNova Systems, the first full-stack AI service that allows companies to operate their own secure, optimized machine learning system. Businesses around the globe need this tech to compete in the AI world, but it had never been done before. That's what drove Rodrigo to do it, and what drove companies like Blackrock, Intel, Google, and SoftBank to fund it. 🎙️ Some keen insights on “The State of AI” by a16z co-founders Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz: 📊 Normal Distribution in AI: If an AI model ingests the entire internet, the output will be average, reflecting the average quality of the input. Smarter prompts can unlock latent higher-quality output. 📚 Domain Knowledge Matters: Beyond generic intelligence, encoding domain-specific knowledge is crucial. The real value of a product lies in how well you can orchestrate workflows and charge based on value, not just wrapping an OpenAI model and charging for the work saved. 🔑 Proprietary Data: It's not a sustainable moat. Proprietary data is just a drop in the ocean compared to the vast internet. Does it really offer that much more insights? 🏗️ AI Industry Development: Think of AI like the computer/microprocessor industry. From supercomputers to chips in thermostats, it's about choosing the right size for your needs. 📉 Boom and Bust Cycles: These cycles are essential. Initial speculation and investment lead to oversupply and losses, but they also lay the groundwork for future value. #AI #TechInnovation #Business #VentureCapital #GenerativeAI

How much do we truly understand about AI, and what its impacts on humanity will be? I don't know about you - but it feels like I've been swimming in a pool of opinions, many of which haven't felt balanced to me. I've said thus far that I'm not comfortable "jumping on the bandwagon" but I also think I have a healthy curiosity of it. As someone who works in the creative industry, I think it's particularly fair to be skeptical and nervous. We've seen a lot of artists hurt by generative AI, and we know that the Internet itself (where many of these language models are learning) contains a lot of bias. But lately, I've been making it a point to look at it from as many angles as possible. To hear lots of experts out. I thought to myself.. perhaps something will eventually resonate. This conversation with Reid Hoffman (co-founder of LinkedIn (!), and also known by some as "the philosopher of Silicon Valley") is the healthiest POV that I've personally come across yet. I think it's critical that we don't separate our humanity from our our work, from our technology. This is the piece I wish more people were talking about. After listening to this episode, I have more hope and optimism for how we can live alongside AI. But I think it's critical we're mindful and intentional in how we shape it and use it. And that part - is very much to be continued... #artificialintelligence #ai #pointofview

Generative AI in 2023 was a bit of an enterprise parlor trick: something that fascinated and amused workers-maybe helped them create an image or revise a blog post — but didn't provide substantial value to the broader organization. That's changing. In 2024, adoption is ramping up, and we're starting to see how generative AI will actually reshape the future of work. In this episode of One Vision Podcast, Theodora Lau chats with Christopher Juneau, SVP, Head of SAP Concur Product Marketing, on how we can adapt to a changing world of finance with AI. 🎧 Apple: https://lnkd.in/eHtXTmtT 🎧 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eapvzrrZ 🎧 Acast: https://lnkd.in/eS6JGsKs 🎧 YouTube: https://lnkd.in/egnSRvC8 🎧 Irish Tech News: https://lnkd.in/e4jumefW #AI #GenerativeAI #Fintech #FinancialServices #OneVision } Unconventional Ventures | Theodora Lau |

Pretty interesting podcast with John Somorjai and Clara Shih from Salesforce Ventures! They made a great mention of AutogenAI when discussing Salesforce Ventures and the future of AI. “Notable application layer investments include Runway, Typeface, and AutogenAI. What all of these companies have in common is how much productivity they add back to the company. McKinsey says AI is going to save $4 trillion every year for companies. That’s an enormous productivity uplift." https://lnkd.in/gWqssZhV #ai #aiadvancements
