We celebrate Pride Month with the LGBTQ community and our colleagues around the world. At Cheniere, we strive to foster equality, inclusion, respect and allyship in our workplace and beyond. Earlier this month, members of Team Cheniere, including our EVP and Chief Commercial Officer, Anatol Feygin, along with friends at Bechtel Corporation volunteered at Montrose Grace Place, a Houston-area nonprofit serving unsheltered youths of all orientations and genders. Our volunteers painted walls, sorted clothes and removed debris, and the Cheniere Foundation made a monetary donation in support of the organization. Celebrating the diverse experiences and cultural heritage of our personnel, communities and customers around the world aligns with Cheniere’s commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion. #diversityandinclusion #PrideMonth

Some thoughts I have about #PrideMonth this year and how organizations can support the LGBTQ members of key audiences.
At Slide Nine, we embrace diversity and inclusion not just as seasonal observances, but as pillars of our work culture. We proudly stand with the LGBTQ community, not just during Pride Month but every day. Through our unique philanthropy initiative, we empower our team members to make a difference by providing each with $1,000 to donate to causes of their choice that promote a safer, more equitable world. #HappyPride #Community #DEI

As Pride Month comes to a close, we reflect on the importance of inclusivity and solidarity.🌈✨ At Ringer Sciences, we stand with the LGBTQ community in celebrating diversity, equality, and love. This month, we dove deeper into the #CorporatePride conversation, from how the Fortune 100 marked the occasion, with 47% of companies participating, to social media discussions of brand involvement in Pride Month celebrations. From logo changes to charitable initiatives, brands showed their support in various impactful ways. Concurrently, consumer discussions highlighted the significance of brand involvement in Pride Month celebrations, focusing on the authenticity of support, the impact of donations, and community engagement. Let's continue to champion diversity and equality every day. #RingerSciences #PrideMonth #Inclusion #LGTBQ #RainbowCapitalism #F100

WHY IT MATTERS:
Thrilled that M&T Bank is supporting the Equality Community Center with $20,000 to further their mission and important work. We look forward to partnering with the ECC throughout the year and making a difference in our community! The Equality Community Center (ECC) in Portland is the first of its kind in Maine - a collaborative workplace for LGBTQ and allied social justice-seeking non-profit organizations while also serving as a community center for Maine’s LGBTQ community. My colleagues Mike Ross, Isaac Yeboah Yeboah, Katie Rooks of M&T Bank, and Wilmington Trust's Jerry Weidner of Wilmington Trust enjoyed a tour and presented a $20,000 donation to the ECC. “The funds from The M&T Charitable Foundation will support our efforts so we can continue to provide a space where everyone can be their authentic selves and thrive.” - Chris O’Connor, Executive Director, ECC Board

Reminder: #Pride doesn't end just because June ends. At Centennial Peaks, all are welcome here - this fact is woven into the fabric of the work we do every day, not just #PrideMonth. In the spirit of continuing awareness, support and allyship, here's a snapshot of our bulletin board in our main hallway that reminds us every day. Here are five ways to continue allyship beyond the month of June: 1.) Educate yourself: Learn all about the history of the LGBTQ community, it's history and challenges. 2.) Donate: Give back to the LGBTQ community by donating to an affiliated non-profit. 3.) Increase LGBTQ Inclusivity in the Workplace: If your workplace doesn't have a culture that promotes LGBTQ inclusivity, speak to your manager about ways to be more inclusive to this community. 4.) Watch a documentary on The Stonewall Riots. Learn how it all began by watching an informative documentary on the Stonewall Riots and all the events that preceded and followed them. 5.) Be supportive: If someone you know is LGBTQ , be a supportive friend on their journey. Though mental health is pervasive across humanity, marginalized groups tend to be at higher risk of struggling. Be an ally, educate yourself and be a good human!

LGBTQ led and serving organizations are chronically under resourced. According to Funders for LGBQT Issues’ Grantmaking by US Foundations Report, for every $100 awarded by US foundations in 2021, only 28 cents specifically supported LGBTQ communities and issues; foundations allocated less than 4 cents per $100 of their total giving to trans communities and issues. These numbers are alarming, but they speak to the lack of investment in LGBTQ led and serving work - Which is why organizations like ours are so reliant on community donations! Please join us in making a meaningful impact on the lives and futures of systems-impacted trans and queer people this Give OUT Day! https://lnkd.in/gzupHnkN

Trust is the bedrock of transformative philanthropy. Quick, flexible funding from a trusted funder can be a lifeline for women and LGBTQ movements and activists who face direct threats to their safety and well-being. When we trust frontline feminist activists to identify their own priorities and respond with flexible, holistic funding they can use it to mobilize quickly to address urgent threats and strengthen feminist movements for long-term change. This approach is inherently feminist. It elevates the voices, lived experiences, and self-determination of those traditionally disempowered by philanthropic institutions. It redistributes agency, resources, and authority to communities spearheading movements for justice, equity, and liberation. For feminist movements, trust-based philanthropy: ✨Devolves decision-making to movement leaders ✨Replaces restrictions with transparency ✨Prioritizes shared vision over top-down mandates To explore trust-based philanthropy further, watch The Chorus We Carry now. https://lnkd.in/eBqWbEVs
